We power large scale crop production with pure sargassum extracts
from harvesting the world’s largest invasive seaweed bloom
VALUE
We Upcycle to Meet the Demand of Large-Scale Growers
Our extracts from upcycling the world’s largest invasive seaweed bloom concentrate nutrients and offer great crop production returns. Corporations and large-scale growers choose our extracts for the following key reasons:
High ROI to the farmer
Across different crop categories, there has been a return on investment (ROI) ranging from 5 to 12 times the initial investment.
Large Scalability
The potential of utilizing sargassum is immense, as it can help us treat millions of hectares for our customers, providing a sustainable solution for their needs.
Environmental Impact
By processing sargassum, we prevent methane emissions, earn certified carbon credits from The Gold Standard and help to protect the Caribbean.

BARLEY
Our Barley Breakthrough
A 12.5% yield sparks remarkable ROI with our sustainable fertilizers.

ROI
Corporate Growers Have Experienced High Returns
Corporate growers who have invested in both row and specialty crop cultivation have seen significant returns on their investment, with profits.

SCALE
The Seaweed Extract that Matches Your Scale
We utilize Sargassum, which blooms at a rate of 20 million tons annually, to provide a scalable and high-quality seaweed extract for our customers.
This abundant resource, floating in the ocean, is maximized to its fullest potential, serving millions of hectares.

IMPACT
Sarga Ag Turns a Seaweed Problem
into a Climate Solution
The Problem
Sargassum is a type of seaweed that washes up on the shores of the Caribbean, causing environmental and economic problems. When it decomposes, it releases methane, a powerful greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere.
The Solution
Sarga Ag collects and processes sargassum into seaweed extract, earning Carbon Credits certified by The Gold Standard, an organization that works with projects demonstrating broader social and environmental impact beyond just carbon.
The Result
Sarga Ag reduces greenhouse gas emissions, supports Caribbean communities and ecosystems affected by sargassum, and contributes to eight Sustainable Development Goals, fostering a sustainable and equitable future.

How you can help to
close the loop
We’ve found a sustainable way to reuse the nutrients found in Sargassum which originally come from agriculture. Usually, these nutrients end up in oceans and other bodies of water due to fertilizer runoff from agriculture. However, Sargassum has a natural ability to absorb these nutrients. We’ve created extracts that can return these nutrients to their natural sources.
